There is no stronger force than an individual who wants to make a difference.

Thinking back to the days following September 11, 2001, we remember how individual people in New York City, and all over the world, gave in so many ways. Some made incredible financial donations, while others volunteered invaluable technical expertise, specialized knowledge, or physical labor.

H.E.A.R.T. 9/11 will be a self-sufficient response team equipped with enough resources to spend days at an incident site without replenishment. It is through our generous sponsors that we will be able to support an individual mission, providing all essentials, such as equipment, tools, shelter and food. Securing those sponsors is paramount, but equally important is recruiting the actual volunteers. We are seeking volunteers to join our cadre of already pledged members. Trained responders and those people with specialized skills in such areas as construction trades, medical care, emergency responder credentials as well as support personnel are all needed to help us complete our mission. Whether assisting with a monetary contribution or a donation of usable equipment, we are certain that you will be uplifted and renewed by the same incredible feeling of fulfillment that we experienced during our time as recovery workers at Ground Zero.
