High School for Construction Trades, Engineering & Architecture Training

HEART 9/11, along with team leaders from the New York City District Council of Carpenters and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, trained seniors at the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering, and Architecture in Ozone Park on Saturdays to prepare them for The SkillsUSA state championships, scheduled on April 23-25. The students constructed a basic bathroom, which involved framing, electrical work, sheathing, and masonry.
