High School for Construction Trades, Engineering & Architecture Training

HEART 9/11 and team leaders from the NYC District of Carpenters Council and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 are working with seniors at the High School for CTEA in Ozone Park over 4 Saturdays, where the students will build an 8' x 8' shed to code. Work will include basic framing, outlet, switch installation, sheet rocking, and roofing. Students will have hands-on training with skilled union labor members.
